Volunteer With HICAP

Volunteering is an excellent way to give back to your community and help those in need. HICAP is a local organization that provides valuable free and unbiased assistance to seniors who need help navigating the complex world of Medicare. As a volunteer with HICAP, you can make a direct impact on the lives of individuals and families who need your help.

As a Medicare Technical Expert, you will receive extensive training and support to help you become a registered Medicare counselor. You will learn about the various parts of Medicare, the benefits and limitations of each part, and how to help seniors make informed decisions about their healthcare coverage.

Your role as a volunteer will be to provide one-on-one counseling and assistance to seniors who need assistance with their Medicare. You will help them understand their options, compare plans, and choose the best coverage for their needs. By volunteering with HICAP, you will not only make a difference in the lives of seniors, but you will also gain valuable experience and have the opportunity to build connections with other volunteers in your community.
