Mother’s Day Flowers 2021
Your donation directly impacts and improves the life of a forgotten mother, grandmother or wife.
Imagine how lonely this pandemic has been for our beloved seniors in long term care, no family or visitors, no activities, confined to their room for an entire year. Our long-term care Ombudsman advocates are one of the few from the outside world who can enter to check on residents’ well-being. Our important work on the front-lines continues, day in and day out. We are reaching out today to ask for you to support our advocates by donating to the Mother’s Day Flowers program. We need your support today to keep this 30-year old program going strong.
Your donation directly impacts and improves the life of a forgotten mother, grandmother, or wife. You may also donate in honor of a loved one, or in the memory of someone who has passed.
Photos from 2020:
Staff create Bouquet Kits with mugs, flowers and gift cards. Setup is outside in our parking lot rather than the Odd Fellow’s Hall.
Volunteers drive up in their cars and pick up a bouquet kit.
Observing personal protection protocols, Volunteers create bouquets at their home and deliver to a long term care facility.
Joy and love sent to our vulnerable elders.
Thank You to our Generous 2020 Sponsors who Supported this Event!
Many Thanks to the Florists who Donated Flowers
