During the holiday season, our Senior Secret Santa program brings warmth and joy to nursing home residents who might otherwise feel alone. In partnership with the Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership (CVNL), we set up trees around the community adorned with heart-shaped ornaments, each bearing the name and holiday wish of a resident. Generous community members fulfill many of these wishes, spreading cheer to those in need.

For 2024, we’re excited to provide 480 gifts to nursing home residents without visitors—often the only gift they’ll receive this season. To make sure no one is left out, SAS partners with generous donors to provide a small, meaningful gift to each resident, capturing the spirit of the season.
