Some women do not get remembered on Mother's Day. They are old and alone. On Mother's Day there is no one to send them flowers. For this reason the Ombudsman Program of Sonoma County is once again coordinating an effort to brighten a nursing home resident with a fresh beautiful bouquet and card. In 2011, three-hundred and thirty-one Mother's Day bouquets were delivered in Sonoma County. As featured in the Press Democrat. For a $25 donation or more, the Ombudsman Program will deliver flowers to a woman in a nursing home. This donation will bring someone your gift of love and caring and will also support the efforts of the Ombudsman Program all other days of the year to help ensure that residents in nursing homes and residential care home live in safe, friendly and caring facilities. Donations in honor or memory of a loved one are also appreciated.
Send orders to the Ombudsman Mother's Day Flower Project in care of Senior Advocacy Services, 3262 Airway Drive, Suite C, Santa Rosa, CA 95403. Credit Cards are also accepted.
